TapFundo is a free service for consumers. We do not issue loans, make credit decisions, or set any loan terms. Our role is limited to processing your request and connecting you with Lenders from our network. WE DO NOT CHARGE ANY FEES to submit a loan request – not application fees, origination fees, or any other charges.

Any fees, interest rates, or charges associated with a loan you receive are determined solely by the Lender and will be disclosed to you in the loan agreement before you sign.

1. Understanding Rates and Fees

All rates and fees are set independently by each Lender and may include:

  • Interest rate and Annual Percentage Rate (APR)
  • Origination or administrative fees
  • Late payment penalties
  • Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) or returned payment fees
  • Prepayment penalties (where permitted by state law)

Because each Lender operates under its own policies and underwriting standards, we cannot predict or guarantee specific loan terms. Rates and fees will vary based on individual creditworthiness, income, state of residence, loan amount, and term.

2. Annual Percentage Rate (APR) Explanation

APR represents the total annualized cost of borrowing, expressed as a percentage. It includes the interest rate as well as any fees that are part of the cost of credit. Shorter-term and smaller-dollar loans typically carry higher APRs than longer-term installment loans.

Because we are not a lender, we do not set or offer any APR. The APR you are offered will depend on a variety of factors including the lender’s policies, the loan amount, repayment term, and your financial profile.

Rates can vary significantly. Short-term loans may carry APRs substantially higher than traditional installment loans. Some loan products may carry APRs exceeding several hundred percent depending on their structure and applicable state regulations. We encourage you to carefully review and understand any APR offered before accepting a loan.

3. Important Considerations

High-cost, short-term loans are intended for temporary financial needs and are not appropriate as long-term financial solutions. Before accepting any loan offer, carefully consider:

  • Whether you can comfortably meet the full repayment schedule
  • The total cost of the loan including all fees and interest
  • Whether less expensive credit alternatives are available to you
  • The consequences of default, including damage to your credit score, collection activity, and potential legal action

State laws vary. Not all loan products are available in all states, and eligibility may depend on your state of residence and the Lender’s requirements. Contact your Lender directly for specific terms and disclosures applicable to your loan.
